Looking for a laptop

I'm looking for a laptop for 1000 CAD but less would be better.I don't really plan to game on it,mainly just for notes and Studio One.I would prefer a PC since my Raven Slate had some weird interactions when I used my Macbook. If you can find one that has a HDMI that would be even better,but I genrally want to keep it as thin as possible as I don't want to look so much to school

Also battery life is quite important and it would be great if it can last a 7 hour school day

i'm not sure the 1 USB C port is gonna cut it,and it is just a bit too compact.10 inches is quite small

mabye that? Not sure about battery life altho you can always undervolt+underclock.

add ssd and 8gb of ram if you have extra money.

should be under 1k CAD.

Could you list out all 8250U/8550U laptops that are within your budget? Also, what are your preferred max weight and display size?

if you don't mind used, older models of 13 inch ultrabooks are super affordable for the price. You can find a nice xps 13 on ebay for around $800 cad (im in the us tho idk what its like to buy in canada). also, checking best buy for refurbished or returned items might be a good option. You can really get a lot for your budget if youre willing to look.

 

Are there any specific features you want? like aesthetics or size or resolution?
