yeah you are probably right does @Origami Cactus think he will get the same bottlenecking with the 6600k?

if he has a z170 motherboard, he could overclock the 6600k to 4.8ghz, at which point it isnt an bottleneck.

I was planning to make an entire new computer basically, and if my 6600 bottlenecks, thing that from what I read of you guys is a yes, I would prefer to upgrade to an i7, or even try amd

in that case you can get an 8th generation (8600k 240 euro  or even an 8700k 330 euro)  processor but with the price of a z370 mobo you will exceed your price tag of 330 euros

The price is only for the cpu, no problem in buying a different mobo
