Hello!

 

First of all, sry 4 bad english, im from the deeeep norwegian fjords 

Im having som issues with my Freenas box.... Software based issues. Soooo i found out i want to try windows server 16. But i have som questions some of you maybe can answer: Im planning to hook a 4k display up to the "winserver box", and use it as a "CAD/Render/Editing" machine as well as a server hosting games and "nas operations". 

 

Does winserver 16 support drivers for AMD Radeon Pro / Radeon RX580 gpu OR Nvidia quadro? 

 

I have been trying to google this, but im blind folded....

yep it supports thos gpus

 

youy can also just use windoews 10

Yes, The AMD side runs on all 'supported' windows platforms. The only issue you'll see is if your installing to Server 2012 (not r2) as that isn't supported.

 

Quadro will also have the same/similar issue, I suspect, but don't have first hand experience with installing a quadro on a non-supported OS.
