The SSD gets power through the PSU's SATA power.

So are you looking for how to power the SSD? Your last sentence was a bit confusing. If that is the case then @seon123 answered your question.

But as it stands I dont have the SSD and power supply linked? I just have cables going into the back of the SSD. And on the other end is a type 4 cable, so that needs to go in the back of the PSU? not the MOBO? Thats gonna be a tight fit.

You have one data cable with a clip, that goes into the motherboard. That cable should come with the motherboard. Then you have a cable without a clip and with several identical connectors along it. That goes to the PSU, and should come with the PSU.

I think I messed up. as it stands I have nothing plugged into the PSU where it says sata and periphal. I have that exact cable in the picture above plugged into the SSD. On the other end of THAT cable, is a type looks to be 6 pin cable with a clip. That is what I am trying to figure out, where does it plug into?

In the picture @AskTJ posted the hand is holding the SATA power cable. This cable should have accompanied the psu. The other end of the cable plugs into the psu.

The other cable is for data. It plugs into the motherboard. There are five SATA data connectors on the motherboard. They are located at the front towards the left edge. Two gray towers of two connectors face outward, parallel to the motherboard. One to the left of these towers, the cable plugs in perpendicular to the motherboard.

I installed the PSU a bit prematurely it seems I really dont want to take it out to plug things into the back. I can reach back there, but its very cumbersome.

The psu should be easily accessible from the right side. Just remove the right panel. If that doesn't work, perhaps you can remove the psu shroud without removing the psu.

The motherboard has three power connectors. A 24-pin ATX power, an 8-pin (4+4) CPU power, and a 6-pin PCIE power.

The 24-pin connector is in front of the memory area.

The 8-pin connector is on the right side of the motherboard behind the large heatsink.

The 6-pin connector is directly left of the 8-pin on the other side of another heatsink.

These connectors along with those on the psu are keyed. It is not possible to incorrectly seat a cable. . . . unless one uses an excessive amount of force. ;)
