Close to Completely Waterproof Phone?

I've been thinking about it for a while but when it comes to smartphone technology we seem to be incredibly close to a completely waterproof device. Wireless charging, no headphone jack, the new technology that allows audio to be made through vibrating the glass screen. The only thing that seems to be missing is a waterproof microphone of some sort. Does anybody know of any technology out there that would allow for a waterproof microphone?

I think the highest rating that currently comes close to waterproof is IP68, which is only ''water resistant''. Nothing fully waterproof yet!
