So I'm using my Dell XPS 13 and have a USB-C to Ethernet adaptor which I use when I'm in my office.

Whenever I plug it in, my machine connects to WiFi instead of using Ethernet and lists my Ethernet as having "No internet access" despite the fact that when I disable my WiFi card and run off Ethernet, everything works just fine and I get full speed from the internet.

I want to make it so that when I plug in my USB-C to Ethernet adaptor, my laptop switches to Ethernet rather than using our spotty WiFi.

I've tried reordering network preferences but get a "Failed to get Network Providers" error, I've tried changing the priority in the device properties using the "Disable Automatic Metrics" option. I tried all the usual steps to fix the "no internet access" message. Currently the only way for me to use Ethernet is to specifically disconnect from my WiFi and do it that way.

Thanks much lads
