Is Lenovo Ideapad good?

Go to solution Solved by WhiteFlame0,

The price increased when I refreshed the page, so I'm going to mark this post as solved and reevaluate my options. I still appreciate any suggestions you might have. Thank you!!

I am a college freshman studying chemistry and physics. I need to buy a new laptop. I have access to a good desktop computer, so the laptop will primarily be for taking notes and researching in the library. I want a laptop I can continue using for a long time.

This is what I'm currently looking at: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/ideapad/ideapad-700-series/Ideapad-720S-14/p/88IP70S0833

Is this a good option, or is there a better alternative (higher quality or cheaper)? Thank you!!

Okay, thanks. Do you have any examples? I know Lewis structures would be a pain in the butt. Is there anything else I should know about?

That was very useful information!! Thank you for typing all of it.

I'm in a pre-engineering program. This way, I can study natural science and still find a "real" job, haha. :)
