Woah, talk about deja vu. I visited that thread but didn't have time to post because I was about to leave for errands.

If youre okay with overclocking a little go with the 1700, if not get the 1800.

Should I get the Ryzen 2600X or the ryzen 1800x for gaming and streaming and which is better overclocked. Dont include budget or money in answer

The 8 core is better for streaming

You might hit 4.2ghz all core on the 1800X

but what's your budget/country? Why is the likely cheaper R7 1700 not on the list?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I'm in Ireland and I've found an 1800X which is relatively cheaper than the r7 1700

Then get that with a Cryorig H5/H7 or Thermaliright something, or Noctua something

and probably the  Ultra Gaming for the boost override
