What Graphics card should I get?

InfiniteJordan

Hi. I am wondering what card I could get with the best dollar to performance ratio. Is something like a 980 worth it? Or is a 1070ti more worth it? I don't play. On playing many extremely intense games, mostly games like Rocket League, CSGO, COD, and GTA V.

My specs are asus rog strix z370-E, Intel i7 8700k, 16gb ddr4 hyperx predator rgb, and 1tb ssd. If theres anything else needed let me know.

Best price/performance card currently is the RX 580.

What;s your budget for a GPU?

I really dont have a budget but I'd prefer $300 maximum.

Also, I'd like to stick to Nvidia of possible, I havent ever had a bad experience with them.

I suppose you don't have a Freesync or G-Sync capable monitor, then pick up an RX 580 as was pointed and move up from there. It would be a good card for those games, while also letting you use Freesync with a future monitor of your liking.

You're not likely to get above 1070 performance with just $300.

If you find a really good deal on a better card, I would definitely say go for it, but the $300 range with current pricing basically limits you to 1060 6GB, used 980Ti, and 1070.
