league of legends Help me find the culprit! (Scam)

Ever played a game and found it hard to get coins or something like that? You search on google for that "Free RP League Of Legends 2018 Working... so on" But then they ask you for your password and email looking like the real official game website when its not andddddddddddddddd  you get hacked and all that RP is suddenly gone.

 

Maybe this was 3 years ago... And now your a Programmer with your fancy Subline and Notepad++. 

Here's how it started..

I logged on to League only to find my friend msged me saying

(Note: Link is used as reference.)

Upon checking it was a scam, (obviously).

I use a program called WinHTTrack which allowing me to download entire websites.

 

Now here's where I need your help. Enclosed is the html/folder the Redeem.html is. This is where your password goes bye bye.

I need help finding the website or form the info (Your password) is being sent to and report it directly to League Of Legends.

That html file is completely useless.

The page uses a script located at http(s)://URL/darkhtml.ml/js/lol.html [not sure why the file extension is .html] to actually perform the request.

You’d have a better chance in /b/ on 4 chan and even then no one is going to help you hack some kid that stole your video game account. 

 

Unless you’re going to pay someone likely in advance several hundred dollars, you’re out of luck.

My account was never hacked. It's out of my own good will. I am not uneducated in scamming nor am I saltly person.

While your efforts are great, this is a game of cat and mouse for Riot Games to attend to. You'd be better off contacting the hosting company serving the files / website and asking them to take it down on grounds of being a phishing site.

it is obviously aint that simple. I wish i can figure out the owners of all the scammy websites that fooled me back in my younger days. Here is a free survey that allows you to download a pokemon emulator. you just need to give us your email address, install these crap programs, and buy these crap products/services. if it doesnt work, try again.
