1070 mining

Ive decided to mine with my 1070 while im not using it but im getting about $0.8 per day, ive seen on youtube that people have been $3 plus is it just that its getting harder to mine or am i doing something wrong?

Mining isnt profitable with 1 card, the electricity is alot in of itself. Less than 25 cents profit per day, RMI is huge.

Ok thanks i just wanted to make sure i wasnt doing anything wrong.

and no im not one of those people who buy up all the gpu's and mine them i just do it while not using my pc.

Behind the curve to start mining. Could get close to 10 bucks for a whole month.

After the average USA power cost a single 1070 is only currently making around .40 cents a day.
Mining won't be worth anything until another boom.

In Dec-Jan I was mining $275-284usd/day. Calculating what my peak hardware would be making right now? $17usd/day. Mining hasn't been worth much since March.
