So I stream everyday and my old computer can’t keep up. So I was thinking about upgrading to this. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hZB7GG Would it work for streaming at 1080p60fps while maintaining 144 FPS in games like BF1, Forza, Fortnite etc? Or would I need a 2700X or maybe stream at 720p60fps to maintain 144 FPS? FYI I already have the gpu and I have 2 monitors both 1080p and I have all peripherals.

Maybe if you do stream that much a separate stream pc might be worthwhile.

Yeah but I have a small room and with 1 pc it gets really hot and 2 would be worse (where I live ac isn’t a thing) I also dont understand how I make a second streaming pc work.

You should be buying an 8 core for streaming

but that build needs a lot of fixing

are you reusing the SSD and case or something? What do you already own?

What's your monitor resolution/refresh rate?

Nvidia announces new GPUs on the 20th most likely.

and you're in the US?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Then I have no idea about your pricing/availability, but there should be cheaper SSDs that will work just fine

the R7 1700 should cost about the same as the 2600X

If you aren't reusing a case, just make sure the new case has good airflow with a mesh front like an RL06 Pro

The board is a strange choice because it's likely not much better than cheaper boards, and totally overkill boards are not much more expensive at $200, at least for US pricing.

I heard that Ryzen 1st gen has bad gaming performance.

I like m.2 ssds because they are cleaner.

We almost have everything that you have in the us but everything here is 25-50% mor expensive.

Is the define s or be quiet dark base 700 any good?

Its not bad gaming performance, its just not as high as a 8700k at 1080p or 720p, but as long as you are at 120-140 FPS , going to 200 FPS doesnt really matter unless your a competive FPS gamer

Ryzen 2nd gen is like a 5-10% gain depending on final clock speeds, you could just use your GPU to stream, but I'd highly suggest you just get the R7 2700 if you want 2nd gen Ryzen.

They make cheaper M.2 SSDs that just use normal flash instead of NVME

If it doesn't have a mesh front it's likely a hot box

Meshify C is fine
