Help with compatibility between Windows Key and Windows Language

BRLeoBR

Hello everybody,

I am buying this week the new parts of my new PC and have a quick question about the Windows Activation Key. I'm trying to be a good guy and don't want a pirate or a gray market key. The problem is, I am a Brazilian guy living in Germany and I want a Portuguese version on my Windows 10. I though that it would be no problem to get, since we live in a globalized world in 2018, but I couldn't be more wrong.

Long history short: as I didn't find any seller of a multi-language version that looked trustworthy to me, the solution I got was do download the ISO from the Brazilian Microsoft Website and installing from it. Now, I need an activation key.

I think it should be "safe" (aka no gray market) if I buy a key "sold and dispatched" by Amazon.

My question is: does a certain windows key work in any language version of a Windows 10 ISO? Does someone know of any other alternative (e.g. can I buy I can direct from Windows Store)?

Thank you very much in advance!

Get a local key.

Then get a windows usb installation media in the language you want (use this tool https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10)

Create a windows installer usb stick using the tool.

Then when installing the windows, use the key you bought,

The keys have no difference in between the countries, the only difference is the cd that comes with local languages. If you create a windows usb stick in a desired language you can use whatever country windows key you want.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

You could buy from Portugal's Microsoft store if you want to get in Euro's. But as said, keys don't have anything to conenct them to certain language or 32/64bit. Only version matters. So Home vs Pro vs Enterprise etc.

Thank you very very much for the answers! So, I'll just get a regular Key. The ISO I can download from the Brazilian Website.
