Hey, there!

I recently thought of upgrading my HP-15-ac042tu. So, instead of swapping my HDD for an SSD (I don't have that kinda budget, which you might have guessed by the laptop), I went for a 128 gigs SSD, which is more than enough for a Windows installation and Office. I installed a caddy, replacing the optical drive. The SSD is loaded and I can transfer content without a hiccup. But, the problem is that I can't install Windows on it using any installation media (Installation says that I'm installing on a DVD which my BIOS might not support). So, I tried installing the OS on my computer, then putting the SSD inside the laptop and creating new boot files. But I can't boot the drive (disk read error). I've enabled VT and 'boot from CD' in the BIOS. Am I missing something?
