so i got a prime-x x399 mobo.

and i not too long ago got a nicely priced m.2 Samsung drive i want to use.

i already got 1 installed and i just understood the second slot is weirdly sitted....horizontal...

from what i read its a normal m.2 i can use but i aint gona sit my card like that!

i mean the tinyest hit from anything and it will break....

what im asking is if there a m.2 extending cable i can just pull and sit my ssd in a safer spot...124124124.png.b178c85a320ae0056c5dcc7318b528a1.png

searching for 'M.2 cables' and some do look like what you want. Fixing them in place will be difficult though.

M.2 slots are not so fragile that the 'tiniest hit' will break them. If you're a little careful, you should be fine. I think your motherboard also includes an M.2 bracket, which would look something like this. This stand also protects the drive.
