Replacing my thermal paste again...

The Last MeMe

Gonna post some pics so I know I'm doing it right.

Basically in replaced my motherboard and put some new paste on (arctic silver 5) and saw about an average of 8 degrees temp increase. That's was 3-4 days ago and I haven't seen the temp decrease AT ALL so I thought I would re-do it

The heatsink might not be seated right, you could also have used too little or too much. Linus (and many many others) have guides that show what the correct amount is. An example could be on if his build gudes: http://youtu.be/JtHDqdo5pR0?t=9m53s

Maybe its not the thermal paste but overall cooling if its overheating.

I'm assuming you put the paste on right in the first place, you needed a pic after initially removing the heatsink so we could see what it looked like initially.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
