Hello guys, so I have been thinking alot about a case, the thing is. Is there any possible way you can get a external hdd with a wifi function that you can use for example on a iPad or similar ?

The thing now is that i have an iPad with 128 gb, and a 2tb external drive and a laptop.

I was wondering if there was a possible way that i could stop to bring my laptop to work and move the media from the hdd/laptop over to the iPad and just bring my ipad and external hdd to work and sort of stream the media from an external hdd over to my iPad ?

Or if there is a external hdd on the market with this function ? Yea i know i have alot of space on the iPad but it would have been nice to have that function on a external drive.

Thanks guys

There are lots of devices that do exactly that either in USB format or HDD capabiltiy with mass storage.

Search 'wireless hard drives'

Whether it works with Apple stuff is another potential problem. Besides, you will be buying a new drive as a whole rather than reusing what you have.
