Simple question, I need the best possible cooler for a Ryzen Threadripper 1920X at a reasonable price. Not looking for RGB or anything just looking to get a really good OC out of it.

I've decided on the X399 Taichi motherboard for good OC motherboard-side

I've never looked into watercooling before, let alone a CPU the size of the threadripper. Thanks for the help.

Ryzen 9 5900X - MSI Ventus 2x OC 3060 Ti - 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz CL16 - ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming ITX/ax

EVGA CLC 280 + 2x140mm NF-A14 - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB + WD Black SN750 1TB - Windows 11/10 - EVGA Supernova G3 1000W

enermax Liqtech TR AIO  https://www.amazon.com/Enermax-Exclusive-Threadripper-Technology-ELC-LTTR360-TBP/dp/B074ZLQZG2?th=1 is expensive, you could also get one of the Bigger air coolers that support TR4.

if you mean closed loop coolers there aren't many out there, and the big noctua cooler would cool it just fine too

open loop is easier as there are many threadripper blocks to choose from

Either get air cooling or a custom loop, wraithripper is likely to be out soon.

Enermax TR4 cooler users are reporting corrosion and possibly some other issues.

yes you can use soft tubing, most people use them, hard tubing is just impractical, and time expensive

look for ncix ultimate watercooling guide, it should guide you most of what you need to know, if you want something a bit more recent then look on jaystwocentz channel, he should have a guide.

Unless you are buying the 32 core stick to a big air cooler for the least trouble, probably the wraith ripper or silver arrow TR4

Jayz has a bunch of videos on water cooling

HardOCP has a ton of TR4 block reviews/overviews

For the most part probably just stick to EK stuff to make it easy
