Is this build good enough for sub $700

Go to solution Solved by AkagiFD,

@Vapor3oN I changed to a 8GB video card, the ASRock card doesn't look too great to me. Looks kinda sketchy

Why not that gpu?   ASRock's dual-fan RX 580 8GB is just $219.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate

Why not get an SSD now and HDD later? https://www.pcgamer.com/best-ssd-deals-today/

Save time and expend less effort by installing Windows 10 on the SSD now rather than having to mess with swapping HDD/SSD later.

- Up to you if you want to keep HDD rather than SSD... i would still get an SSD over HDD. Faster OS boot times, faster app load times, snappier responsiveness.  crucial mx500 500GB for $90

- Newer, faster CPU

- Newer mobo/features

- Better PSU

- Better GPU - 8GB Vram

- more recently released case w/side window-- case up to your personal pref.

good luck

With that you're gold to play the games you mentioned at 144hz. The only thing I would try to get is a 8GB RX 50 and not the 4gb one. The ASRock one is pretty cheap and not that much more expensive on  : https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814930002&cm_re=RX_580-_-14-930-002-_-Product

it's not that much more expensive that the one you selected. Also, if it were for me, I'd try to go m-ITX for a smaller build but m-itx mobos have a little bit of a price difference and you'd really have to pick your case + gpu together so you get  a card that fits on the m-itx case you selected. I would suggest getting the HDD over the SSD for now , you can buy the SSD later. It's better to have a slightly longer windows load time than to run out of space and see what game you have to delete before you can download a new one. That sucks

I'm not too concerned with the case itself, as it'll probably go under my desk and spending money on a better looking case when no one can see it is useless. Thanks for your input though.
