X470 taichi ultimate... one led zone not working?

 Let’s get the part list out of the way:

thermaltake 600w “smart” psu.

taichi ultimate x470

ryzen 2400g

gskill 3200, cas 16

Thermaltake view 27

Gammaxx 200t am4

PNY 240gb ssd salvaged from laptop.

 

I just put this PC together last night. It’s my first one in years so maybe I missed something. When I turned it on two of the three “polychrome rgb” zones illuminated and blinked blue. 

 

The IO cover has not illuminated.

 

 

troubleshooting:

the only thing I really know to do is try turning it on and off in the bios. This is not working out. The zone does not respond like the other two do.

 

 

any thoughts?
