Hello people,

It's been a while but i'm looking to get back into music production.  The last time i was doing this at any sort of determination I was using Logic Pro (5? I think) and my PC (!!) Had a Sound Blaster Live! in it lol.  Now i'm understanding that Logic hasn't been available for PCs for quite a number of years.  I've dabbled with Cubase a couple of times but seeing as i'd need another computer in the bedroom anyways would much rather go back to my native Logic.  My songs, back when, were never really more than about 8-10 tracks deep.  I already have an old Tascam US-100 audio interface and would only really be recording single instruments at a time.  I'll be using just a cheap 1080p monitor.  Now here's the questions.

Would say, an older Mac mini be strong enough to run Logic these days?

If not, what sort of specs would i be looking at needing?

With all the Trolls, Try Hards, Noobs and Weirdos around here you'd think i'd find SOMEWHERE to fit in!

I wouldn't run much on an older Mac Mini.

You'll want at least a quad core CPU, maybe 16GB of memory, and pretty much any dGPU.

DAWs aren't that taxing from what I recall, but even the newer Mac Minis aren't terribly powerful.
