Micro Centers?

So I've been searching for a few month and i cant seem to find any micro centers in the UK so i'm just wondering... Do they only exist stateside or do we actually have a few in the UK

I'm pretty sure micro center only exists in the US, though not 100% sure (don't live there myself).

In all fairness, the microcenter.com site would only show the US stores like that.  A microcenter.uk site would be needed for UK stores most likely.  

 

Now to be a total dick, I have to say we have 2 Microcenters and 2 Frys here in Atlanta. Yeah, I did that.

Yeah microcenter is US only, but their online website is amazing, they have 18 minute pickup and you can look at items without going to the store.

They'll occasionally beat Amazon/Newegg pricing as well, plus their bundle discount for CPU/mob on top of that is fantastic.

Hm. I've noticed that there prices are identical to everything else, other than CPUs where they're much cheaper, and GPUs where they're more expensive.

Naw, great deals on SSDs and bare HDDs, monitors are usually cheaper, cases are cheap but the selection isn't great, and open box motherboards are the shit

The hard drives are typically identical, but they do have frequent sales on SSDs. Yeah the monitors are usually 10 bucks less, and totally agree on cases and motherboards.

Ahh they need to expand out to the UK im really getting into the whole building and component side of PCs its just a shame there isn't really any stores around my area to go and browse properly I'm constantly using PCpart picker to review parts for future builds im wanting to do.

I think Scan is equivalent UK store. Overclockers UK would be the Newegg equivalent.

 

(Verkkokauppa.com would be equivalent here. Jimm's for Newegg.)

I got a microcenter here in my city (NYC) it is literally just 15 minutes riding Q58 bus. I feel so privileged hahahaah

You ask currys or pc world for a GPU and they show you SSD's there useless and overpriced.
