Was wondering about this ram. I installed it when I built my computer 2 years ago and I was looking into checking speeds on various things.

I noticed that my memory freq js sitting at 2197 with this ram. Seems like it may be running a little low? Thoughts. This is under 0 load just sitting on bios

Did you remember to set the XMP profile in your BIOS when you installed it? All RAM runs at the JEDEC 2133MHz standard when installed unless you activate the XMP profile for its advertised speeds.

None. I just found this actually. So now I have it turned on. Feels bad man. =/

A lot of people make this mistake. Don't worry about it. It's never made obvious by RAM vendors that you have to activate the XMP profile after installation and honestly why would anybody think that with they way they market their product. Theiy market a speed and make no indication it's an "overclock" speed, but honestly, if they did, people probably wouldn't buy their higher advertised speeds.
