I'm currently building my first pc, after switching from console. I bought a "EVGA Gtx 760" Gpu and now I need to power it. I had a psu before but I realized it requires more power so I bought a " https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014W3EMAO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 " Because it was better than the one recommended for a few more dollars. The problem is that i'm still not sure the new psu will have the necessary cables to even connect to my video card. So to sum it up, I need information on what you would call the cable needed for the gpu. If possible also if my psu comes with the necessary cables, and if it doesn't what adapter I would need to buy.. Thanks (:

It should but that PSU isn't very good. Get something like a CX550M

You need a PCIe 6pin and 8pin connector. Some PSUs give you PCIe 6+2pin instead, in which you leave the 2 out for a 6pin header, and use the 2 for an 8pin header.

that PSU sucks. though, refer to this list

tier 3 or above (the lower the number the better) will do. These days 450w PSU will be enough

Ok so this is just my opinion but I would suggest a better graphics card in general, you won’t be able to play medium or high settings on most games today, I speak from experience maybe medium in lower quality games

Don't worry I also think I should of got a better one lmao, I just decided to build one but I was on a relatively low budget. I've just been overwhelmed from these sugma treatment bills.

Thanks, I'll definitely upgrade in the future, I mainly got it because it was recommended by the creator of my case, pretty sure I got the wrong one lmao. So should I be fine? or should I start researching for compatible adapters? (Sorry, I just like making sure I fully understand)

nah you dont need adapters. The PSU comes with 2 6+2pin from the factory
