Troubleshooting RAM frequency settings

Hey guys!

I am exhausted from searching the web for an answer, so I hope asking around here gets me to the solution.

 

My System:

Pentium G4560 Kaby Lake

Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz

MSI B250 PC MATE

MSI GTX970

 

My Problem:

While upgrading my rig I got a sweet deal on the RAM, which is obviously overkill for my system. Yet it won´t run at the boards max speed which is 2400 iirc. I tried everything in the UEFI and even some MSI tools.

Do you have any ideas?

Get into the BIOS, find the memory frequency, and raise that from 2133MHz to 2400MHz. If you can find the XMP option, turn that on as well.

Cinebench R15 Single thread:168 Multi-thread: 833 

SuperPi (v1.5 from Techpowerup, PI value output) 16K: 0.100s 1M: 8.255s 32M: 7m 45.93s

Yeah, I tried every possible combination of those settings. Still 2133
