I am trying to find a solution where I can remote into my grandparents computers. It needs to be free or no more than $10 per computer. I only have 2 computers. Need to be easy with no hassle. Also when I log into the computers, they still need to interact with the  system. I would also like it where I can blank the screen. Please Help.

Thanks,

Teamviewer is pretty good and free for non commercial use, and you can remote in with just about any device.

Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen R7 3700X @4.4Ghz, GPU: Gigabyte RX 5700 XT, RAM: 32 GB (2x 8GB Trident Z Royal + 2x 8GB TForce Vulkan Z) @3000Mhz, Motherboard: ASRock B550m Steel Legend, Storage: 1x WD Black 1Tb NVMe (boot) + 1x Samsung 860 QVO 1Tb SSD (storage), Case: Thermaltake Core V21, Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

TeamViewer can be set to startup itself. Enable it inside the program then make sure it is enabled in TaskManager > Start-up

I have had so many issues with Teamviewer. My grandparents don't know computers and were losing there mind. So done with team viewer. I loved logmein but know they charge $299 for 2 computers. Screw that.

Why not just use RDP? Even on cable Ip addresses don't change that often. You would just need to open the correct port for the machines and if 2 machines just do a little port forwarding setup so that you use a different port to reach rdp on the second machine.

If you are worried about the ip changing you can setup a free dns with many of the solutions out there and then as most do install the service on one of her machines and have it check the ip once a day and update the dns record.

You can also give yourself remote access to their router in most cases too which can enable you to send a magic packet in the event you want to start one of the machines that is currently powered off.

Teamviewer is also good, just look up how to install it as a service and ensure it is launching regardless of login state.

*edit* to clarify what I mean about the port forwarding. You would open port 3389 on your router which would give you access to RDP on pc 1. Then you would setup port forwarding so that for example port 3390 would go to port 3389 on pc 2 (via internal ip address)

VNC server/viewer is a good option. You'll need to set it up as a 'personal use' account for it to be free. You can have a max of 5 PCs connected at any time.
