Okay so i  have a pc and i want to upgrade. I cant afford full price new gaming pc. So i want to upgrade my old gaming pc with new partsxD . And i want to know do they fit.

Old Pc Specs (imported from pc program Speccy):

Well; the motherboard you have is not compatible with the consumer 8400 you have picked out... that is for the enthusiast line.

 

Also for the price different you might consider a 8500 for the higher boost clocks for relatively the same cost. So something like below. You can swap back to a 8400 for about a $30 saving on the total price... and can add a full atx motherboard for about 5-10 bucks increase in cost.
