Dell latitude 3450

hi, I have a dell latitude 3450 laptop. While working i closed the lid of the laptop and left it as that. Now my laptop isnt booting when i try to turn it on the power led light s up for 17 seconds and then but nothing comes in the screen. When i plug in the ac adapter the charging light dosent light up but if i try to power it on without the battery and just the ac adapter power light again light up for 17 secs but i do have press and hold the power button for that when olny plugged in.
