Future of Android

this has more to do with linux but they are related

 

i was searching for stuff  and i came across this

 

the latest leak suggests google is working on linux 3.10 

and throughout linux version there are great advances that will help android but one in particular caught my eye

 

 

there is something very interesting in linux 3.7

it will also helo OEMs upgrade many phones faster and much easier

 

could we see a time where we could just simply install new android operating systems on phones like windows on PCs ?
