So basically I’m getting 270€ and I’m debating between buying a 7700 (280€) (non k since I don’t overlock) or a new MOBO and an i5-8400 (270) (maybe even wait for the I5-9400), I will using them for gaming (especially FPSs), and if I get the i5 what MOBO should I get:

This B360 Asus TUF one

Or this Z370 Gigabyte one

I won’t overclock so don’t recommend the Gigabyte mobo because of it so keep that in mind

Mainly because while AMD is good, in the gaming side intel still gets better performance

Yeah but what resolution are you playing at, what refresh-rate, what GPU are you using. An Intel CPU being able to render 20 more frames doesn't matter if you are only playing at 1080p 60fps with a 60Hz monitor on a 1080 Ti.

at this pricepoint you will hjave much more funn with AMD!
Intle is like 5% fest in Games.

But with a ryzen you get more perf. in every other aspect, less power consumption and more upgradebility and a free cooler that does not sound like a jet taking of

FOLDING MONTH 2021! GOGOGO and save on some heating costs 🙂

Right now 1080/60 but in Christmas I’m getting a 144hz monitor and I’m using a 1050TI with an i3-7100 (of course I’m playing on low settings for 144hz)
