Low GPU usage

I have the 1070ti EVGA, but whenever i play fortnite, it only does like 30% usage. Wtd

What's your CPU? Also did you enable Vsync and also what's the settings that you are playing. Also don't benchmark this GPU in Fortnite.

Check nvidia control panel and in 3d settings, make sure that maximum performance is selected in the power setting

Memory Speed?
PSU?
What else is running at the same time?

I don't think hes benchmarking, hes just playing the game.

What CPU do you have? It could be holding back your GPU and be called a "Bottleneck".

The CPU is okay, the ram is okay the PSU is questionable but i think that it won't cause problems. Are you getting those kind of performance ONLY in Fortnite or in every game?

I'd guess you're playing Fortnite with VSync enabled and CS Go with Vsync disabled. And you graphics card can do 60 FPS in Fortnite single-handedly that's why you don't see that much utilization.

How's the FPS. If it's high enough you should not worry. Also if you want to check if everything is okay download some benchmarking tools like Heaven or 3Dmark. Also check Nvidia Control Panel settings.

Its just that when im playing my favourite gaming, fortnite, then i would like for my gpu usage to be higher than 40-50%

On what settings you are playing? If you are playing on low res and with vsync you can't expect high gpu usage.

Yep if you have everything on low and getting 250+ fps your gpu doesn't need to work harder. Glad that i helped

And thats the weird part. I didnt get near 250 fps on low, i got like 180

I said 250+ for reference. 180 FPS is the same overkill as 250.

Hi simple, again. I just ran a benchamark, and it shows that my gpu is running a little below expectations, any cause?
