MATX X79 Mobos

I’m planning a new build, but figured this should go here because it’s mainly just asking about motherboards, but what are the best MATX X79 mobos under $300 USD? I was looking at the X79 Extreme4-m from asrock, but i can’t even find a used listing anywhere for it, and the listings I find are 2-5 years old and they sold for incredibly cheap. The only other option I see being usable is the Rampage IV Gene, and frankly, I wanted to stray off of my usual red and black for this system. The plan is a 3960X run slightly beyond stock and an rx 580 GTS, so what mobo is the best in that price range?

Sadly that’s the full atx extreme4, I can’t even find the matx version anywhere, and if I found one at $250/$300 I’d be buying it rather quickly

Ya, from what I'm seeing all the micro atx versions are that intel board or that asus one.  Not sure how good the Intel one is, but you might have to get the ASUS one.  You can always paint the board if you wanted to.

Yeah, probably will, was hoping I could avoid paint dammit, I guess that’ll be what I have to do.

I found a listing on the extreme4-m that is current, but $600 USD for a board that, when someone has one, sells for $100 is absolutely stupid. Too bad I’m probably gonna rnd up buying it anyway though.
