Help with High CPU Usage

 now i dont know whats up with my Windows Media Center with my Ehrecvr.exe running 60% CPU when recording it never did that always stayed at 35% max when i was on Windows 7 32Bit, now i upgraded to 64 bit this was started.  I researched and i reinstalled my graphic card driver and removing codec and restart, helped and it was back to normal.  it seems every 3 days it goes back to 60%.

 

Now a week ago i tried overclocking on this CPU from 2.7 Ghz to 3.0Ghz and run Stress test and Temp software.  I only took 4 min will one of the CPU to fail turned red on the Stress test and the other was still running then blue screen.  So then i reset the Bios and started working and noticed it running little slow.  

 

I dont know if i ruined the CPU or this is a software or hardware error.  Please help .

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 955 (95watt @3.5Ghz @1.40V), MOBO: ASUS M2A-VM, RAM: Kingston 8GB (4x2GB) DDR2 800MHz, GPU: nVidia GT 710 2GB DDR3 (OC’ed Clock to 1300Mhz and Memory to 950Mhz), STORAGE: 250GB HDD, 500GB HDD, COOLER:  Cooler Master 212 EVO, PC CASE: Cooler Master Q300L , FANS: 3 x upHere RED LED Fans (2 Front, 1 Back), PSU: Generic 300 Watt PSU.

So I got my new CPU today when I went to remove my heatsink my CPU  came off too.   The last time I was putting in new thermal paste I must've not like to chip in would that cause these problems I did this about a month ago or two months ago

So I installed my new CPU and my ehrecvr so back to normal only using 10% CPU when recording now I have a problem with PlayReady in Windows Media Center it say I have to update it because of hardware change so the CPU but it won't update and I give me copyright error when want to watch recording
