so, i posted something similar yesterday about AOE 3 crashing my pc, but i dont think its AOE. It looks like any GPU based games, like Portal (most resent crash) AOE and Garry's Mod. It happens about 45mins - 1hr into game play. The pc freezes then shuts off and restarts. Its not the cpu overheating because i have run Minecraft (very cpu intensive) for like 7 hrs at a time on max settings and nothing is wrong. Also the GPU based games all run in fullscreen, could that be the problem? And i its not the drivers, i updated them yesterday, yes, ALL of them.

Does it BSOD? If so, what codes is it reporting?

Minecraft CPU intensive?

Run a synthetic benchmark and see if it keeps shutting down.Watch your temps.

Disable any OC.

ahhh, i OC'ed my GPU by 50MHz, and i dident raise the voltage i think, would that cause it? BTW my gpu in those games runs at ~50-60*

That could be it. Did you run stability tests after OC? It could be also PSU failing to supply extra power after OC.

yah i ran some stress test, but maybe not as much as i should of, i put my GPU to stock clock and power, i also took my cpu and OC'ed it to 4.2 instead of 4.3GHz
