Hi so I bought my brother a pair of HyperX Cloud 2 headphones a year ago and the mic doesn't work. He uses the USB connection of it and it has so much slack. The cable from the actual headset has a bit of wiggle room in it and it doesn't seem to be making a connection to something. The mic works for a splitsecond if you rotate its cord. But even then you'll have to push it from side to side. I tried putting it in my Xbox One controller and it worked after i pushed it from side to side and rotated the cord. It worked without me having to hold it in that position, I could even rotate it. So I am unsure but I think the problem is the USB adapter. The thing about that though is that the USB adapter is vital for us to make the headset reach from the computer under our desk to our heads. I wonder if we could buy a new adapter and then have that work. Perhaps it is just a faulty adapter? I honestly have no idea, could anyone give me some info if they have a pair of HXC2, mainly about how you fixed yours if you did.

The USB dongle is a piece of crap, get a usb to headphone/microphone adapter and a long F 3.5mm to M headphone / microphone cable.

If that doesnt fix it, Im sure Kingston will let you rma it

I think the cord is just broken, like my Corsair Voids.

The cord that goes from the headphones or the one in the USB adapter? I don't think either have any problems as the USB connector works with earbuds and the headset with my controller. I don't really know that much about headsets though. I'll probably have to contact Kingston myself.
