Hey i Build my PC about a year ago and i always had problems in setting my memory at it's speed of 3000. (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) I have a MSI B350 tomahawk motherboard and it is compatible with that memory. My problem is that whenever i set the xmp setting to 2999 speed it works for a day or two and then after that my computer turns on and then off, over and over again until it boots up. No idea why this happens. Hope someone can help me out! I have no idea how to do this manually or if i should increase volts. Thank you!

Does your PC run normally when xmp is disabled and the ram is left at it's manual speed?

Without any OC on it it's 2400 but it only works with xmp 1 which is at 2666. xmp 2 is 2999 and is where i run into those issue i stated before. the memory should be running 3000 since that's it's native speed.

Right right. I had to OC one of my ram sticks too because it was running a little below it's native speeds. Not sure why they do that, but I'm not sure why your PC would go into a restarting cycle like that.
