Build For a Friend

Pc Part Picker's Link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6j7MTB

A friend asked me to help him with his first pc build and I thought I would run it by you guys.

Also the 1060 will be replaced by a 1080 ti or 11 series cards just not in the budget atm, and commander pro is going to be thrown into that list too.

You don't need an 850W PSU. 850W is more dual card SLI territory. The EVGA G3 has been noted to have some protection failure in tests recently, so I would recommend a different model PSU. Good quality 550W would be better suited.

Get some 3000Mhz or 3200Mhz memory instead. Will only be a few dollars more than the 2666MHz but should be worth it.
Do you need a 1TB SSD? Probably better off with a 500GB nvme drive that will be cheaper and faster. Add in a HDD if you need extra storage for movies or pictures and whatnot.

Fixed everything

Vega 56 for free-sync savings, can get either a 4k IPS free-sync display at $300 or a 1440p 144hz IPS free-sync display at around $429 in the near future

Just get a case with actual airflow

probably doesn't need a 1TB SSD, just use StoreMI, probably fine

Don't need all the extra fans

Get an adapter with a moveable antenna
