I just bought a new meory kit for my computer about 2 days ago, a 16 gb 2666 mhz Patriot Signature kit used from amazon to replace an 8 gb 2133 mhz Gskillz ripjaws 5 8 gb kit. when i went to replace the old memory and boot up the system, the fans refused to spin and the computer would not boot. the computer works fine when you replace the ram with the old kit. my system is an Ryzen 3 1300x running at 3.7 ghz, Asrock ab350 k4 gaming, Gigabyte gtx 1050 windforce oc, the ripjawz 8 gb kit, Thermaltake 500 watt bronze pawer supply, 2 tb seagate harddrive, 240 gb sandisk ssd.

Tried clearing the CMOS? I'm not familiar with RAM compatibility with Ryzen, but I've heard it's a bitch.

no idea how to do that

Go in your manual. It should either be a button or two pins on the board that you need to short with something conductive for a few seconds.

Have you tried updating your BIOS? If you can get it to boot with the old memory or something then you can update it and hopefully get the new stuff to work
