iPhone Charger, cleaning solution ?

Hey. 

 

So these are my iPhone chargers.... and to say the least they are covered in Pencil Led. 

 

From being in my backpack all year, without a pencil case for my pencils. 

 

I now now have a new backpack, and a pencil case, and was wondering if anyone knows of a trick to help remove the led. 

 

I did it before, with an eraser, but that took like 30mins.. also am using Pledge, that is somewhat removing it. But taking some time. 

 

Any ideas?

Nail polish remover perhaps, nail polish remover is the end-all for anything that needs cleaning, but I'm not too certain it's safe for electronics.
