This is my first ever PC build and I plan on using it for school work light 3D modeling and occasional gaming (Fortnite and Kerbal Space Program). I have a 650$ish budget on the PC without windows or peripherals. My budget a little bit flexible but I don't want to break 700$. I don't care if I have to play games on low settings I just want a PC that will last and be easily up-gradable for future hobbies. If there are any issues with compatibility or bottle necking PLEASE TELL ME. If you have any suggestions on different parts please tell me. And if you say this build will suck and I am an idiot it will not offend me. Also suggestions on red and black ATX mid towers around 50$-70$ will be very helpful. Yes I know the motherboard and power supply are overkill that is for expanding in the future.

these are the parts I am looking at.

Your GPU is more important for gaming, put most of the money there, the CPU is easy enough to upgrade for AM4, save up and look for a good deal on an 8 core CPU, R7 1700s can be found cheap enough soon enough, or find the $50 to just get the R5 1600 now, you can just buy a case later if it means a better CPU now.

Don't really need the tower cooler, can buy that later.

The ASrock Pro4 B450 board is probably the best value board.

Get 3000mhz RAM or better

Get a decent SSD

RX 570/580s are going to have 40-60% more performance than a 1050ti

Get a case with mesh so that it actually has ariflow

Streetguru Thank you for the advice. I looked at multiple youtube channels and PC fourums and a ton of people said that ram over 2400mhz was a waste if you were not using it on a 1000$ machine witch I do not need. If they are wrong please tell me how It will be very helpful.

Ryzen benefits from higher RAM speed in general.

Depending on the game it'll determine your max fps, it's not like 3000mhz is typically much more expensive anyways.

Streetguru thank you. I was wondering if you know of any other cheap cases with a side window. And don't I need a decent CPU cooler if I plan on overclocking?

The Ryzen stock cooler will be fine so that you can spend that money on a better GPU now.

Just find a case with a mesh front whatever you end up with, the MX330 should have a glass version though.

If it doesn't have a mesh front for decent airflow don't bother

Streetguru is the ATX size motherboard a better option for 10$ more?

Same VRM, unless you need display port for an APU, or need the extra PCI-e lanes they should be basically the same.

When you use the M.2 slot some sata ports will be disabled because they share lanes.
