If it has a 6 pin or 8 pin power connector, make sure those are connected :)

Should do a clean install of windows with any major hardware changes.

Eh, with a GPU swap, it's rarely needed, usually (at worst) just run DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and keep on going.

Usually you only need a fresh load if it's a major architectural change (from Intel to AMD CPU, for example)

Not necessary so long as you DDU your drivers and kill LAN, chipset, etc drivers where applicable. Switch from B350 to Z370 with just driver uninstalls went fine for me

Even then not usually necessary so long as they're of similar ages. I switched from Ryzen to Z370, just killed drivers and went on going
