but it seems like a good deal

the 550 ti he's looking at here is a DDR3 version.  Yours will be GDDR5

Wait 550ti is 15 bucks...that's srangely low imo.

But for your question Yes it is a good deal, I don't know your financial situation but 15 euro for a GPU that's not 20 years old is like kinda free, if you have 4GB RAM at least + dual core processor it will be sufficient for Minecraft Payday heck even CS:GO

Around here the cheapo brands go for £10-15, the nicer (more ram, better heatsink) for £30 odd. The 660ti might be around 50 max, but should come in lower if you look around. My 660ti did me well. Performance less than a 1050, but ok for older games (better than a 1030!!!).

Yeah, I had a Windforce 660Ti back in the day.  Used to use it for 3D Vision

You're either trolling or you're not informed enough. 
Minecraft doesn't care for your Graphics card unless it has heavy shader over it solely because it needs 64MB VRAM to run properly. GTX 550TI can still run most E-sports Games with fair enough FPS on 1080p

You said, "even Minecraft" you haven't said "Minecraft shaders"  which is two different things. One is running Vanilla Minecraft on good enough GPU for it, one is for running Shader overhaul Minecraft on insufficient GPU. Have a good day too, and next time don't try to argue!
