Meshify C - Noctua

Nosfy
Go to solution Solved by chckovsky,

NF-A14.

If not, either is fine. The common wisdom is airflow optimized fans for intake/exhaust and static pressure optimized fans for radiators/heatsinks. However, the front mesh on the meshify C is quite thick, and may provide a bit of resistance. With a restrictive grill/mesh usually a fan with better static pressure performance wins. I'm not sure at what point that happens though.

I'm sure either is fine. The NF-F12 (focus flow) has a nice balance of static pressure and airflow. I use two on my NH-U12S and one as an exhaust fan. Works great.

Hey guys.

Looking to get some Noctua Chromax fans for my Meshify C.

What would be best as front intake? The NF-F12's or the NF-S12A's?

Cheers.

Either will work fine, I'd go with the NF-F12s as you're gonna need to pull air through mesh and a filter

What would you suggest air cooler wise for an 8700k (not overclocked).

Cryorig R1, the biggest dual tower ones (14- and 15-inch variants) from Noctua, Be Quiet, etc. Most of the really big ones from known brands are capable.

EDIT: Just how incapable is your current H7? I have an H7 quad lumi on my 7700K. It gets toasty but never above 90c with MCE enabled. I'm decently satisfied with it.

There's a H7 listed in your sig which should already be enough. Are you referring to the same system? If so, why do you want a new cooler?
