Scheduling's only for those that are overzealous about it or require it as part of some corporate IT policy. Otherwise it just happens when judged it's needed. Actually I think even when scheduled it may not run if fragmentation isn't enough. If you don't have it scheduled and want it so, just do set it to weekly and forget about it. It'll handle it if required. There's not a conditional option though in the built-in tool to force it to run at 10% fragmentation. Maybe in some type of system policy.
