So I started to get parts for my first computer, and my friend helped me out by giving me a 550 Watt power supply for my build. The PSU model is an OKIA-550ATX.

So my question, to get straight to the point, is: could I connect a 20-pin connector to a 24-pin motherboard?

If it helps, the motherboard I chose is a GIGABYTE GA-AB350M-DS3H.

If it's part of the wire harness rather than an additional adapter from 20 pin to 24 pin, then it should be fine. Though the brand does sketch me out. Looks like one of those cheap feather weight pieces of crap

EDIT: Yes it is

power supply is not recommended for long term use. Good for now but clearly wasn't designed for your use case, and is probably on the old side. My advice is to replace it before it craps out and takes something good with it. Get a corsair CX or something.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
