Cloning SSD's

My Pc has 3 drives

 

C: SSD (boot)

D: HDD

E: HDD

 

I just bought a better SSD to replace my boot drive. How do i go about cloning my old one? Thanks

Which brand of SSD and what model? Some manufacturers will have their own utility to do this. What I always recommend is to just do a clean install. No part bringing all the little issues a HDD does to a Windows install with you.

Old One is a Transcend 128GB not sure of model, new one is a HP-branded liteon drive. Also, not sure of the model.

Transcend has their own utility for that, but it's for transferring to a Transcend SSD, not sure how if it'll allow for the other way around.

Or you can also try Clonezilla. Clonzilla does not run in Windows so you'll need to make it into a bootable USB and boot it from there.

Another vote for Macrium Reflect. I've had other utilities fail to clone my Boot drives to SSDs but macrium Reflect has worked well for me every time.
