960 evo price and questions?

i found a samsung 960 evo 1tb for around 324€(thats like 380 dollars) is that a good deal

is this enough cause i want to put steam and co. and my os on it. how much storage do i usualy need with the os and all drivers usualy? 30gb? 100gb?

and what actual storagecapacity do i get with the 960 evo?

Ideally you would want around 40-50GB free on your main partition for OS functions such as hiberfile.sys and your swap file. That's typically how much space the OS requires for all of its functionality.

 

The formatted capacity should be listed at ~930GB. Overprovisioning brings it down usually by 10%, so 830-840GB would be the final capacity if this is used.

M.2 or sata? pretty sure they sell one of each

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

seems like a decent price then. I know the 2tb evos are around 1000.
