Hey, guys!

First off, I hope this is the right thread to post in, if not, please move it... :P

My problem is the following:

Every time I start Paladins, the launcher opens up and if I click on "play" the launcher closes, steam tells me the game's running and for a short amount of time, the game "tries" to start, so to speak. After that, nothing happens and Steam doesn't even say that any game is running.

In case that helps: My machine is a Jumper EZBook 3 Pro.

Normally, I'd just re-install the game, but I'm not at home at the moment which is why I can only use my data plan which would probably cost me another four to eight euros, as I would have to "re-fill" it, so that isn't really an option. The only thing I could do is trying to move the files to my notebook's onboard storage once more.

Before I left, I copied the Paladins game files from my main PC to an SD card so I could copy the files to my notebook. But at home, the game didn't start up because the launcher wouldn't even open(apparently). But the launcher does open on my notebook, after Steam downloaded some additional files which - I guess - fixed it. The only thing I could do is copying them to my notebook again.

you just have to rebuild that game on the steam library, it will download missing files.

I think/thought it already did that, as Steam downloaded a few files(a few KB if I'm not mistaking).

after it downloaded the files? still the same problem? tried to restart your computer?

Yes, that's the problem. It must have downloaded the launcher, as that does exist now. Since then, I restarted my computer a few times and the problem is still present.
