Alright so my laptop recently kept getting Blue Screens and it would state memory management. I took my laptop to a pc shop (the guy charged $25 for 4gb and amazon has 4gb for $35 so i saved $10) before I had 4gb (2x2) but one of the ram sticks was bad and now i have 6gb. I keep getting the memory message but no blue screens. Is that normal or not? Could it be that that 2gb is responsible?

Alright thanks!! How do I remove the laptop keyboard without the tool or do I need it? Would a knife work or something

Unless you have experience like I do than I do not recommend trying to open the laptop yourself if the ram is underneath the keyboard. Usually there should be something like a lid hard to explain but it has screws, if you unscrew those the ram should be right under there. It should say on each stick it's capacity. Down here there is a photo to show where the ram is likely to be at and also how it looks when it's opened. You can find tutorials on YouTube if it helps.maxresdefault.jpg.290b82a147dbadc3105e2f31e59bbeab.jpg

a flat screwdriver should do the trick to remove a keyboard

there's a ribbon cable under the keyboard that's secured with a plastic lock, you'll need to open the lock in order to take the kbd, you can use the same screwdriver for this.

ASUS X470-PRO • R7 1700 4GHz • Corsair H110i GT P/P • 2x MSI RX 480 8G • Corsair DP 2x8 @3466 • EVGA 750 G2 • Corsair 730T • Crucial MX500 250GB • WD 4TB
