Hi all,

I dont know much about pcs, inkniw essentials. Please help me decide wich setup i should get (im buying used ones)

#1:

Price 500€

Gigabyte radeon r9 280x 3gb
Intel i5 2500k

8gb ddr3

 

Setup:
Razer basilisk RGB

LG ultrawide 29UM68 29" (has amd free sync)
M12 maxi mousepad

Option #2, Kaby Lake is a great option for those on budgets. Do you happen to know the full specification sheets for both setups because you didn't mention the motherboard for the second one whereas you did for the first one, it's quite inconsistent and hard to compare.

Out of those two, definitely the top one. 

An unlocked Sandy Bridge should easily beat a locked 2/4 core Skylake. 

The GPU performance should be very similar for both. 

The PSU should definitely be changed, as it's complete crap. Should be around €50, if you can do that some time after getting the rest of the build. 

It includes an SSD, the other one does not. 

The K65 is a very decent mechanical keyboard, so assuming they haven't messed it up completely, it's worth a bit. 

Do keep in mind that the 280X does not support Freesync, as it's a rebranded HD7970

:)
